No. The body map runs entirely in your browser and nothing is transmitted or stored. Print or save the PDF to your organisation's own recording system before closing the page.

This is deliberate: safeguarding records belong in your organisation's systems, not on our servers.

Using body maps well

Record facts, not interpretation: size (measure if possible), colour, shape, and the explanation given — in the person's own words where you can.
Use initials only on the printed record; your organisation's system links it to the person securely.
Never photograph injuries on personal devices; follow your organisation's photography policy.
Report concerns immediately under your safeguarding procedure — a body map records, it does not replace a referral (children: s.47 enquiries via the placing/local authority; adults: a s.42 Care Act referral).
The printed record should be signed, dated and filed the same day.
