Using the site and tools
- The site, tools and content are provided free of charge, "as is", for information and practical support. Outputs are guidance, not legal, financial or clinical advice — see the disclaimer.
- You are responsible for checking that anything you rely on is right for your circumstances and consistent with your organisation's policies and current law.
- Don't attempt to disrupt the site, probe its security, or use it to send spam.
Template licence
Templates in the library are free to download, adapt and use within your own organisation (including printing and internal distribution, and use with the people you support). You may not:
- sell, license or otherwise commercialise the templates, adapted or not;
- republish them (on other websites, marketplaces or document packs) or present them as your own product;
- remove the "review before use" note — templates must always be reviewed against your own policies before use.
Consultants and trainers: you may use templates when working inside a client organisation, but not bundle or resell them as deliverables. If in doubt, ask — we're reasonable.
Intellectual property
Site content is © SocialCareKit except where it quotes legislation (© Crown copyright, reproduced under the Open Government Licence) or otherwise credited. Trade marks referenced (Ofsted, CQC, Social Stories™ and others) belong to their owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from use of the site, tools or templates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
